CBD College Goes Back to the 90s for Student Appreciation Day March 2018

CBD College kicked off the official First Day of Spring, Tuesday, March 20th, with an “I Love the 90’s” Student Appreciation Day!  Spice Girls, Fresh Princes, Selenas, and Waynes and Garths gathered in the auditorium for some memorable games and hilarious competitions.  Of course, there was pizza and refreshments, and slap bracelets.  Everyone was a winner on this special day, celebrating everyone’s hard work in their programs thus far.

Game On!

CBD scholars enjoyed classic games including Jenga, Connect Four, Water Pong, and a  unique competition called “Donut on a String.”  The object of the game: be the first person to eat the donut off the string.  The only caveat: the donut must remain on the string or in your stomach.  If it falls on the floor– you’re disqualified!  Students, faculty, and staff alike reveled in the challenge of this game.  Winners won a free dress day for their entire program.  Congrats to our Medical Assistant AM, Pharmacy Technician AM, Occupational Therapy Assistant, and Diagnostic Medical Sonography PM groups!

Paparazzi- Pictures Please!

A photographer was present, and there was also a step- and- repeat banner to capture the times.  Be sure to check out CBD College’s Facebook and Instagram @cbd_college for more pictures from the nostalgic event, and follow @CBDCollege on SnapChat to stay up to date on future events and contests!
