American Heart Month
February 1 - February 28
Heart disease is the leading cause of death for men and women. That’s why this February during American Heart Month, CBD College is encouraging our family to take charge of their health and start one new, heart-healthy behavior that can help reduce their risk of heart disease and stroke:
- Schedule a visit with your doctor to talk about heart health.
- Add exercise to your daily routine.
- Increase healthy eating.
- Take steps to quit smoking.
- Take medication as prescribed.
If ever there’s a time to shout a little louder and demand change, it’s now. You can be a strong advocate to help advance and improve heart health for women. Tell Congress to increase funding for WISEWOMAN, fight for the Health Equity and Accountability Act, and address inequalities in Medicare and Medicaid.
