HIV Prevention Study Through Los Angeles LGBTQ Center

The Los Angeles LGBT Center and UCLA are holding a research study for individuals that are 14-24 years old. The purpose of the study is to find the best ways to support youth who are living with or at risk of acquiring HIV.

Participants will receive regular HIV and other STI testing and immediate linkage to healthcare services when necessary.  Additionally, there is a cash incentive of $50 per appointment.

We know that a lack of resources and support can prevent individuals from taking care of their sexual, physical and mental health.  Therefore, we offer supportive services such as group chats with helpful and friendly peers, medication reminders and referrals to social services.  HIV positive individuals will receive additional support in adhering to treatment.  Transportation can be arranged to attend all clinic and research appointments.
