CBD College Announces 2nd Annual Art Expo Winners

March 30, 2017

Creativity took the spotlight during CBD’s Art Expo 2017

Students, faculty, and staff from virtually every program showcased their artistic skills in this year’s Art Expo.  Display pieces ranged from jewelry, fashion designs, paintings on wood, freehand drawings, and photographs.  Students took the time to visit the Student Resource Center Art Gallery to cast their votes for their favorite pieces.  Today CBD College announced their 2nd Annual Art Expo Winners.

Of the art featured in this year’s exposition,  three Occupational Therapy Assistants,  one Pharmacy Tech,  five Diagnostic Medical Sonography, and two members of faculty submitted.  Eley Selim (OTA)  submitted one of his geometric wood canvas paintings composed of oils and acrylics.  Geraldine Farias (DMS) also submitted an intricate diagram of the Adult Heart Circulation.  Student Affairs’ own Ivan Reynoso submitted a  canvased photograph from his trip to Egypt.  The artists’ passion made this Art Expo one to remember.

Congratulations to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners, Sura So (OTA), Erin Milman (DMS), and Eley Selim (OTA). who walked away with new CBD College swag.  All of the participants did a fantastic job with their craft! CBD looks forward to hosting this event next year and hopes to put even more pieces on display from its different programs!
